Many talented Malaysians, especially from the professional and academic sectors, have chosen to seek opportunities abroad due to concerns about the quality of education, limited career prospects, and perceptions of political instability. This exodus of skilled individuals has hindered the country's efforts to build a knowledge-based economy and retain local talent. Despite investments in education, concerns about the quality of the education system persist, particularly in higher education institutions. Addressing brain drain and improving education quality are critical for Malaysia's long-term development and competitiveness on the global stage.

   

2. Environmental Degradation and Deforestation:

   Malaysia has been facing serious environmental challenges, primarily due to deforestation and unsustainable practices in sectors like palm oil production.
